a conversation I had a few years back that I will never forget.
- Time/Place: Mon. 9:00am AIPH IDT workshop. (names have been changed to protect the innocent.)
- Joey Baggs: Hey man...sup?
- Me: Nothin' much Joey. How are you today?
- Joey Baggs: I'm aiight, you know. Hey, what are you workin' on there?
- Me: Ohh... This? It's a table top for a table I'm buildin' for class.
- Joey Baggs: Ohh yea? Well... what are you doin' to it?
- Me: Umm... [very confused look on my face] ... I'm sanding it Joey.
- Joey Baggs: ....... [even more of a confused look than I had]...
- Me: This is sand paper.
- Joey Baggs: OHHH! So dats how they get the wood so smooth!!
- Me: [jaw hits floor, all hope for humanity is lost]
- Joey Baggs: Ok well I gotta get back to class. Lata man.
- Keep in mind, when this took place, Joey Baggs and myself were at school and we are both in the Art Institutes, Industrial Design program. Apparently they will let anyone into that program.
